This configuration is basically identical to the $800 model Apple has listed, short of a $200 upcharge for 16GB of Unified Memory. 8GB will get you by for standard web browsing, but 16GB can help
The CPU may be able to support up to 16GB but if the motherboard can only take 8GB then that's your limit. In Ubuntu if you're running 32-bit then your limit is 4GB and if you're running 64-bit it's much higher (can't remember for certain but it's way way above 16GB. But you will always be restricted by your hardware.
In theory, you can easily connect a stick of 8 GB and a stick of 16 GB RAM together in your computer. In practice, however, things are not as easy as you might think. Different manufacturers clock their RAMs to different frequencies, and they make sure that the RAM is carefully tested and compatible with specific models.

Select Advanced system settings. Under Performance, select Settings. Open the Advanced tab. Under Virtual memory, select Change. Here are your Virtual Memory options. If you want to set custom virtual memory settings, you'll have to uncheck the box to Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

Please note the CL14 memory does pack a 32GB capacity as you can't get 3200 CL14 4GB modules, but since World War Z doesn't require more than 16GB of memory, this won't impact performance. . 252 309 405 309 81 95 103 331
